How it works
Every day in December...
Commit to writing 250-500 words/day
OR
Commit to writing for 25 minutes/day
What this challenge is about:
✅ Continuing progress on a project even during a busy time of year (i.e.: the holidays)
✅ Maintaining or regaining momentum from NaNoWriMo
✅ Practicing fast, messy drafting to get your story out of your head
✅ Finding sustainable ways to prioritize writing regardless of “life getting in the way” (because it always will)
✅ Having fun!
What this challenge is not about:
❌ Burning out from working at an unsustainable pace or “cramming” to finish a project by the end of the year
❌ “Finishing the year STRONG” or other hustle culture B.S.
❌ Setting unrealistic goals during a busy season
❌ Finishing a polished version of your story (we’ve called it “drafting” for a reason)
❌ Feeling guilty if you don’t write every day (it’s OK if you miss a day! We’re just practicing!)
